Scope of work The aim of this work is to follow the activities related to the Operations System Engineer and support the operations and service provision to our client for European space programs. Skills and competencies to be successful University Education or Masters Degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, science. 5 years of experience working performing the activities mentioned. Knowledge andor experience of space system engineering or operations activities. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Result orientation, operational efficiency. Enjoying team working, especially in a multicultural environment. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Coordinate the Operations and ILS team during OPS design and execution. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent by experience. At least 5 years of experience in operations management for Satellite missions experience in LEO Low Earth Orbit mission is a plus. Management of operations design, validation, Launch and Early Orbit phase, commissioning and routine phases. Experience with costs estimation of operations execution and Ground Segment maintenance. Experience with RAMS Analysis, design, development and maintenance of ILS Tools. Experience with coordinating a team, heshe shall have a good interpersonal and proactive attitude, with a problemsolving mindset. Experience in business contacts with partners from different companies in an international project. Result oriented attitude. Planning and organisational skills. Capability to build trust and show inspiring leadership based on strong communication skills. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Italian is an asset. ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The position is a critical role in the management of the mPOWER ARC system on an ongoing basis and ensures the ARC system remains stable and is responsible for ensuring system uptime is preserved. The incumbent works collaboratively with operational, infrastructure and customer facing functions within the mPOWER NOC to help ensure the stable operation, reliability, and security of our customer services and infrastructure. The role is primarily focused on the effective operation of mPOWER ARC System. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULT AREAS Responsible for the management and monitoring of the ARC system on an ongoing basis within the O3b mPOWER NOC Works alongside fulfillment and service partner teams to ensure new services are implemented effectively and changes required within ARC are implemented in line with agreed requirements Works alongside customer and infrastructure operations to support existing customer services Escalation point in the support of existing service provision and any system related issues with the ARC system Manages and monitors the Adaptive Resource Control ARC system that serves as the autonomous O3b mPOWER management and control system. Configures and tune ARC for optimal performance.
