(Telecompaper) T-Mobile US has launched the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G smartphone and started limited 5G service in six cities. The phone runs on 5G in mmWave spectrum in parts of Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York. T-Mobile said customers would not pay extra for accessing the 5G services.

Dish close to deal for USD 6 bln in T-Mobile, Sprint assets - report

(Telecompaper) Dish Network is in talks to pay at least USD 6 billion for assets that T-Mobile US and Sprint are selling to win regulatory approval for their merger, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg. Dish could announce a deal as soon as this week for assets including spectrum and Sprint's Boost Mobile brand, the report said.
