He will have a major role in implementing industrial activities, monitoring their progress and evaluating the satellite performances. Galileo Ground Segment Security Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities The postholder will be deployed in the Galileo System Office and report to the Head of the GALILEO Segments, Sites and Operations Security Unit in the GNSS Security Office. The main duties will include Management of the Galileo Security Monitoring Centre GSMC and Point Of Contact Platform POCP development AIV activities including the interactions with relevant member state and GSMC stakeholders Hosting Entity Operations Management of the Security Operational Intelligence Facility SOIF development AIV activities including the interactions with relevant member state representatives and stakeholders Hosting Entity Operations Provision of security design expertise to the Galileo System procurement office as regards the design and development of the Ground Segment Security design during its evolution, including the definition of security technical measures in support of security risk treatments Working closely with the Head of the Galileo Segments, Sites and Operations Security Unit, the Galileo System Security Operations Engineer, and the Galileo Key Management Facility Technical Officer as well as with the wider GNSS Security Team and Galileo System procurement office to ensure the provision of support to the Ground SegmentElement Security Design activities including relevant engineering and nonconformance review boards SegmentElement Security AIV activities in support to Galileo System and Segment procurement offices Segment and Site Accreditation activities including the security configuration control activities required for accreditation maintenance Segment, Sites, GDDN and Operations security activities planning including GSAled system penetration testing, with specific focus on the implementation of System Level Risk Treatment Plans. Telespazio VEGA Deutschland is looking for a Quality Manager to lead and coordinate the quality assurance activities for a multinational consortium tasked with the development and provision of a multimillion Payload Data Acquisition and Processing Segment for a European Earth Observation programme. The project will start in early 2017. The project covers the provision of Ground Stations, the Network Infrastructure, the Payload Data Processing and the preparation and integration at different sites across Europe. The project spans from the preliminary design to the onsite verification and handover to the customer. The Quality Manager requires experience in ECSS Standards as applicable to satellite data processing ground segments. The Quality manager will be supported by the Telespazio VEGA Deutschland Quality Organisation. Submission deadline will be June 6th 2016. RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES Monitoring and reporting on QAPA activities of the entire consortium including the lower tier suppliers Participation in formal reviews Chairing NonConformance Review Boards Handling of nonconformances Validation and Integration Test Approval and Witnessing Document Reviews Planning and Performance of Audits for the consortium including lower tier suppliers Critical Items Management Alert Management. QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE General quality management or product assurance experience in large projects with multiple, multicultural subcontractorspartners located at different sites. An engineering degree or equivalent Trained QA auditor Knowledge of QAPA supporting tools. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Good understanding of applying quality and product assurance in Software and Hardware environment, including the integration into systems Excellent understanding and demonstrable evidence of the application of ISO 90012008 Quality Management Systems Experience with other Management Systems, e.g. ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems is a bonus Knowledge of ECSS Standards E, Q and M Lifecycle Management and Phase Reviews High level of interpersonal skills Excellence in spoken and written English Willingness to travel.
