Tasks The key person will work in the Technical Scientific Support Department as a member of the Mission Control Applications and Tools Team, which is part of the Generic Systems and Infrastructure Division. The Mission Control Applications MCA and Tools Team is responsible for the maintenance and development of the following Mission Control Applications Spacecraft Monitoring Control, Local Applications Monitoring Control, Onboard software management, Flight Dynamics System, Mission Planning System, OpsPrep Tools, Data analysis and reporting tools, Spacecraft Simulator. Analysis and implementation of mechanisms or tools allowing the automatic or semiautomatic verification testing of the application software. This activity includes the technical coordination of the production by an external contractor of new releases or patches of the application software, liaison with the EUMETSAT operational users, participation to technical reviews, participation to infactory at contractor premises acceptance testing campaigns and coordination of the installation of the releases or patches onsite at EUMETSAT. Essential requirements In addition to having a University degree in a relevant engineering discipline, the key Person shall demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in the area of specification, design, implementation, verification and maintenance of Flight Dynamics Systems. The key person shall have skills and experience in the following mandatory areas Domain Skills Experience minimum 3 years in requirements elicitation in the area of Flight Dynamics. Experience minimum 3 years in the definition of software requirements, architectural design, implementation andor customisation of Satellite Flight Dynamics Systems in the context of LEO missions.
