This job is to develop spacecraft GNC flight software for ispace, inc. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge base including an understanding of embedded hardware platforms. The job includes all phases in design, from defining software architecture, to implementation and test of software, to support of spacecraft operations during simulated and real missions, in collaboration on a daily basis with other team members and with the hardware counterparts. Prior experience with high reliability designs for example in aerospace, medical or automotive industries is a must. Key Responsibilities Perform requirements definition, design development, code unit test, integration support and verification of spacecraft GNC algorithms Provides support to the GNC analysts to derive flight software requirements and design from analytical models Develop realtime embedded CC code, and verify implementation with unit test Develop drivers and integration modules to integrate GNC flight code with spacecraft FSW Basic Qualifications Strong software engineering lifecycle development experience Strong experience with the CC programming language Experience developing realtime embedded flight software for spacecraft Good teamwork skills and desire to work with high performance software development teams Experience with GNC hardware interface applications, Sun Sensors, Star Tracker, IMU, etc. Preferred Experience Experience with realtime embedded spacecraft control systems Experience with Simulink auotocode Experience with Linux Unix development environments Experience with spacecraft attitude determination, control, and navigation theory Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems, hardware, telemetry, command control. Spacecraft GNC Engineer

This job is to perform spacecraft GNC systems design and analysis for ispaces Lunar lander development. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge base in GNC system design and analysis on both flight and ground segment sides. Specific experience in landing on celestial bodies, including precision landing and obstacle avoidance using a closed loop system is highly desired. The effort includes all phases of design and analysis, from helping the team define system requirements and architecture, to schematics and layout, analysis, simulation, component selection and supporting prototyping efforts with hardware and software in the loop testing. Responsibilities Duties In general the key person will located at our customer EUMETSAT European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites. Heshe will work closely together with our customer EUMETSAT and contribute to the routine operations Definition and maintenance of missioncontrol operations procedures, including System and ground segment procedures and operations guides Liaison with the spacecraft operations team to ensure the continuity and optimisation of spacecraft monitoring and control activities Liaison with the operations analysts to ensure continuity and optimisation of databaserelated activities Interface with other facilities within the operational ground segments to ensure the continuity and optimisation of ground segment and mission monitoring and control activities Interface with external elements of the operational ground segments to ensure the continuity and optimisation of data exchanges with the mission control systems Interface with the mission control systems maintenance team and industry representatives to ensure optimised performance, including participating in the definition and implementation of any changes Provision of support to operational ground segment analyses Provision of standbyoncall support as part of a team of MCS engineers Provision of support, as required, to critical operations Processing of system anomalies, their documentation, investigation, classification and resolutionmitigation, including participation in Anomaly Review Boards Participation in further technical meetings, formal reviews, and scheduling and planning meetings. Heshe will also support the preparations for recurrent satellites and future satellite programs Provision of support to the development, system and ground segment verification and validation, and operations preparation for recurrent satellites in existing operational programmes, in particular MetopC Provision of support to the development, system and ground segment verification and validation, and operations preparation for future operational programmes such as Sentinel3, Sentinel6, MTG and EPSSG Heshe will support the operations teams Provision of training, through written materials, practical demonstrations and presentations, to other members of the Operations Team.
