This position, based near Frankfurt in Germany, is for a Data Services System Engineer with at least 5 years experience in the operations, maintenance and evolution of data services in a highly available 247 environment. The particular focus of this post is in the area of multicast dissemination systems. Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. The successful candidate will work with the clients Data Services Team which is responsible for the development and maintenance of all data access distribution and long term data archiving and retrieval services.
