For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a Spacecraft Functional Test Operator for their location in Bremen, Germany. This company is using its long heritage in the European space industry to develop the nextgeneration European launchers. Tasks and Responsibilities As a spacecraft test operator, you will be responsible for the preparation of test activities and the implementation of functional tests on various spacecraft. Setup and use of the Electrical Ground Support Equipment EGSE and related software for various spacecraft AIT projects Creation of test scripts in accordance with the test specifications and test procedures, also using electronic tools Preparation of test configurations for functional testing of equipment on subsystem and system level Execution of test activities on the test system, in accordance with the test procedures Creating test final documentation, also using electronic tools Support of mechanical and pneumatic integration and test activities. Or the candidate should have a degree at least at BSc level MSc would be preferred in a related subject such as Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics etc. Experience working with computer systems and PC literacy is required. Database knowledge would be useful. Candidates must be adaptable, selfdisciplined and able to work in a calm and correct manner under conditions of stress. The position requires working a shift rota candidates must be able to fit in well within a small operations team.
