Job description For our customer we are seeking an experienced Spacecraft Operations Engineer, to work on the MetOpSG program at the customer site in Toulouse, France. Responsibilities The duties of this post will include MetOpSG Flight Operations Procedures Development Validation MetOpSG Failure Detection, Isolation and Recovery FDIR onboard procedures development and validation. This is a full time located in Toulouse. Qualifications Competencies University degree in Science or Engineering. Experience in developing and validating flight operations procedures Experience in developing and validating on board control procures including FDIR System and Software engineering experience. Capability to work in a team as well as with external partners. Candidates should be rigorous, have good communication skills and be able to transfer technical knowhow in a clear and concise manner. Requirements The candidate should have a solid background in a technical or electronic environment, to the level of Senior Technician. A formal qualification to ONC or HNC would be advantageous. Ex service personnel should have completed a service College apprenticeship in electronicstelecommunications, and possess a background in Avionics, Air Defence, Air Radar or Communications. Or the candidate should have a degree at least at BSc level MSc would be preferred in a related subject such as Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics etc. Experience working with computer systems and PC literacy is required. Database knowledge would be useful. Candidates must be adaptable, selfdisciplined and able to work in a calm and correct manner under conditions of stress. The position requires working a shift rota candidates must be able to fit in well within a small operations team.
