Responsibilities Ensure that the specification of each payload equipment unit is consistent with meeting the endtoend system performance and functional requirements Ensure that all payload unit, subsystem and system test procedures comply with the contractual requirements Participate in design, test readiness, material and failure review meetings at manufacturer sub and prime contractor facilities as needed Monitor flow of payload components thru build, test and integration into the next higher assembly Monitor daily payload activities at spacecraft manufacturer facility Provide 247 on call support during payload system testing Support Launch Base Testing, Launch Day support, and Payload IOT testing. Experience Qualifications Master Degree or equivalent in ElectricalTelecommunication Engineering 710 years related work experience in RF engineering work, ideally in relation to spacecraft disciplines Understanding of payload architecture, design and manufacturing RF equipment, repeater and antenna subsystem Link budgets repeater RF performance measurement Integration and testing Quality control essentials Ability to work day to day issues with manufacturer and programme team Experience in spacecraft payload mission specification Experience in satellite payload operations Excellent communications skills both written and oral Negotiation skills, assertiveness Strong computer software skills Willingness to travel on a regular basis. LSE Space GmbH is looking for Master Graduates and Junior Engineers mf in the field of Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunications to join LSE Space GmbH as Spacecraft Controllers to support numerous Satellite Missions at GSOC in Oberpfaffenhofen near MunichGermany. You shall operate all or part of the mission system, which may incorporate parts of the ground segment as well as the space segment, as specified for each mission. The positions could cover prelaunch, launch and postlaunch activities. Typical tasks will be To monitor and control all operational progress, in accordance with the scheduled operations plan, ensuring that safety criteria are respected and that all operations are conducted in accordance with the established procedures To perform specific operations relating to individual missions, as defined in the operations plans, or as instructed by the responsible SOM, SOE or Analyst Immediately inform the responsible personnel when an anomaly is detected, in accordance with the established procedures To take corrective action as necessary, applying the contingency emergency procedures approved for the mission To coordinate with the responsible personnel for any scheduling required To prepare operations reports as requested To assist in the production of printouts, graphs and plots for offline evaluation and analysis To prepare and complete all necessary forms for the daily operations routine. The service is performed in a shift rota to continuously have 24 hours manning team within a regular shift pattern. Qualifications A Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunications.
